We work with businesses, nonprofits, and organizations to tell meaningful stories that connect with audiences and create real impact. By intentionally taking on a limited number of projects, we’re able to give each client the attention, creativity, and care their story deserves.

How did shoreward come about?

Hi I'm Jake, Founder of Shoreward Media and ADDY award winning cinematographer/drone operator.  Video has been my passion since I was a little kid. The desire to tell stories with video is what first brought me behind the camera. I grew up in Ventura CA and started making videos with my friends when I was 10 years old. We would grab my parents camcorder and run around in different disguises filming crazy "movies". I am proud to say that I am still running around with my friends making videos, only now our videos are a little bit higher quality than back then. After high school, I went to college at the University of South Dakota studying video production and marketing while pole vaulting on the track team.  After university, I freelanced working under and learning from established creators before starting my own production company in 2021. Today, I am grateful be able to make a living behind the camera while also keeping track and field in my life as a high school pole vault coach.
