At Shoreward, we generally keep things small and nimble to better serve our clients. We take a Less is more approach. Assembling small high level crews to make the best possible product at the desired budget is what we do best.

How we serve our clients.

We are most fulfilled when working with a limited number of clients instead of juggling dozens of projects. We strive to go deeper with each client, putting our all into each project. Operating as a small team of experts allows us to stay quick, adaptable and less intimidating, while scaling up the team when necessary.

How did shoreward come about?

Hi I'm Jake, Founder of Shoreward Media and ADDY award winning cinematographer/drone operator.  Video has been my passion since I was a little kid. The desire to tell stories with video is what first brought me behind the camera. I grew up in Ventura CA and started making videos with my friends when I was 10 years old. We would grab my parents camcorder and run around in different disguises filming crazy "movies". I am proud to say that I am still running around with my friends making videos, only now our videos are a little bit higher quality than back then. After high school, I went to college at the University of South Dakota studying video production and marketing while pole vaulting on the track team.  After university, I freelanced working under and learning from established creators before starting my own production company in 2021. Today, I am grateful be able to make a living behind the camera while also keeping track and field in my life as a high school pole vault coach.
